Cherry Blossoms

After 3 days of rain ... today was sunshine! Yea God! I took off to grab a few pictures of the cherry trees in the area. They have been blooming this past week. Tomorrow is forecast for sun, but one never knows around here. So when the sun is out, you better get out and play!

A Morning Stroll

Yesterday, I took my camera along on my walk. I climbed off the boat, headed to land. As I turned back to take a look at the view it looked to be a promising walk.

Stretching out my legs and picking up my pace, I decided to cross the spit and look what I saw! It looked as if I could go right to it. That's White Rock, BC, Canada behind the rainbow!

It became overcast and rainy rather quickly with the skies delivering a typical NW morning after all. On my return to the marina, I saw from afar that 2 eagles were perched atop the tree in the eagle snag as it is called. I love this eagle snag!. I am always looking in it's direction to see if an eagle or two is there. One morning when the sun is shining I am going to sit out there and wait so that I can take pics of the eagle(s) landing or taking flight.

Returning back to the marina gate, the rain had moved beyond the harbor onto the mainland. I only experienced slight sprinkling of rain during my walk . Such a typical start of a day here in the NW. I am ready for spring and sunshine!

Eagles and more eagles

Recently I saw all these eagles one morning. There are 5 immature eagles between the 2 pictures. I have seen several mature eagles in great activity lately. What a wonderful sight to behold! The wildlife continues to fascinate me and keep me looking for the next interesting bird I have yet to see.

Sunday Sundown

I have decided to try my hand at blogging. I hope this will be a great venue for you to view my photos as well as keep up with us. My email list continues to grow and I enjoy keeping up with you but I am hearing back from many that my photos take too long to download. I hope this provides you an easy way to see my photos without having to download to your own computer.

Today after church, we took in a matinée movie, Amazing Grace with 4 other friends, Steve & Linda, Dave & Debbie. The movie is a definite winner in our opinions. Check it out! Afterwards we continued the fellowship with pizza and a card game.
